iRIDE Ambassador - Brad Setters

Brad is an iRIDE ambassador and Rapha Ride Leader. Often leading the weekly iRIDE shop road and gravel rides whilst also creating content for his Youtube channel Simple Cyclist.

What you’ve done / where you’ve come from?

I would call myself a long-term cycling addict.  I started riding in my late school years and did a few seasons at NZ elite level in U23, for both XC Mountain biking and Road racing.  Some up and down years followed as life took over and lessons were learned.  But now with a small family, I am chasing a cycling journey that involves pushing personal boundaries and experiences.  All while helping others along the way.

Favourite ride?

Akas Loop with the iRIDE crew. 

Best experience on a bike?

North Island Teams Race Series.  Having a team is the best way to experience bike riding, and its more then just the racing and competition.
