iRIDE first opened in October 2010. The ethos of the brand has always been well summed up in its motto iRIDE to live iLIVE to ride. iRIDE's founder, Andrew Young, wanted to create a bike shop that resonated with people who have a love of the outdoors, motion and a positive attitude to healthy living.
Pretty much every one of the iRIDE Staff rides bikes regularly and just about every variety. We have a crew from all over the world. We have some great relationships with shops in the US, which enable us to attract talented people who come out to help in their off-season. This enables us to share skills, learn and refine what we do. It is also a great way to meet new friends and have an excuse to ride in new places when we travel!
