iRIDE Ambassador - Christian Davey

Christian is an iRIDE and Specialized Brand Ambassador, racing triathlon. Breaking into professional-level sport is never easy and we at iRIDE are stoked to be able to support Christian as he represents NZ on the world stage.

What you’ve done / where you’ve come from?

As a youngster, I played and competed in any sport I could, before finding a real passion for running and cycling. I started competing in athletics and cross country as well as road and track cycling. I then began to follow in my older brothers’ footsteps and started triathlon. For the past 8 years, I have been pursuing my triathlon dream and made multiple national podiums and a World Champ podium finish. For me, it's still just the beginning, and I continue to chase professional triathlon.

Favourite ride?

I love the Makara loop, it's right on my back doorstep but feels like you’re super remote. 

Best experience on a bike?

Racing around the closed streets of Takapuna on a Friday night in front of big crowds.
