Long-distance riders can encounter a full range of weather conditions, so a lightweight layer that is both warm and packable is essential. The Brevet Insulated Jacket is made with Polartec® Alpha® insulation to provides exceptional warmth and breathability so you won’t overheat during harder efforts.
The jacket features a full length two-way zip for easy adjustability and reflective detailing for visibility in low light. The fast-drying Polartec® Alpha® insulation is coated with a DWR (durable water repellent) coating meaning the jacket sheds water rather than holding it like natural down insulation. Soft, brushed jersey side panels add warmth and allow the jacket to stretch over full pockets, while reflective detailing increases visibility in low light. The jacket has two accessories pockets of its own on the lower back, secured with snap down zippers. When not in use the jacket rolls up neatly, secured by an elasticated loop at the neck.

Polartec Alpha was engineered as an active insulation to regulate core body temperatures during both dynamic and static activities. This ‘adaptive’ breathability helps eliminate the need for shedding or adding layers while on the move, making it ideal for cycling.
By keeping moisture vapour moving freely through the fabric, it increases overall air exchange and dramatically speeds up dry times, providing thermal regulated comfort. Polartec Alpha is also highly compressible, made with a stable core… that prevents ‘fibre migration’ to keep a uniform consistency, even after heavy wear and repeated laundering.
