Engineered with Formula 1 aerodynamic expertise and developed in collaboration with the Uno-X Pro Cycling Team, the Redeemer 2Vi® Mips is a challenger for the most advanced time trial helmet on the planet. The redeemer is built on our 2Vi® technology platform for ultimate performance and comfort, with Mips Air for protection against rotational forces.
The Redeemer has undergone extensive wind tunnel testing conducted across eight iterations of prototypes, and its development has been informed by 100 hours of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis at Silverstone. Its innovative airflow design reduces overall drag by channeling air through an intake duct and closed Laminar Flow Bypass Duct. Clear and smoke visors are included so you can optimise your vision for the conditions on the day, with an integrated magnetic attachment system making visor swaps fast and hassle-free. The visor is flush-fitting to blend seamlessly with the helmet shell, and it features bypass ducts for enhanced aerodynamics and reduced fogging.
The Redeemer 2Vi® Mips inspires peak performance through advanced aerodynamics, comfort, and features for the redemption of minutes, seconds, and victories.
- Featuring our 2Vi® technology platform for increased performance and comfort, including Mips Air for protection against rotational forces
- Developed in conjunction with Uno-X Pro Cycling World Tour Team
- Variable Elasticity Shell includes a pre-preg carbon layer for lightweight impact resistance
- Laminar Flow Bypass Duct channels air through the intake port on the helmet's stagnation point and accelerates it through a closed duct. Air exits the duct at a higher speed than the air outside and flows around the shoulder area to reduce drag.
- Flush-fitting visor attaches with integrated magnetic fastenings for lightning fast lens swaps
Søren Wærenskjold (2022 U23 individual TT World Champion) and Joss Lowden (former Women’s UCI Hour Record holder), both Uno-X team riders, were test subjects for wind tunnel tests at the Silverstone Sports wind tunnel.
Wærenskjold and Lowden have contrasting body shapes and riding positions. Testing demonstrates the Redeemer is optimised for a variety of rider types and positions, offering aero benefits across a range of head and torso angles. (credit Wordup Projects)
