  • Go Faster

The S-Series makes every part of your ride better: the final sprint on your Saturday morning group ride, the long climb, and a solo effort on the edge of town. We've applied years of experience of building the most aero bikes in the peloton to create a bike that delivers maximum performance.

Ideal For: Group rides / Solo efforts

    Cervelo - S-Series - 2021
  • Aerodynamics - Integrated Aerodynamics

The S5 boasts substantial aerodynamic improvements over its predecessor. Full internal cable routing, a custom bar and stem, riding position, and special frame shapes work together to reduce drag and improve aerodynamics. The result: you go faster.

    Stiffness - Maximize your Power

The best sprinters in the world need a bike stiff enough to handle the extreme forces they produce in the frantic sprint to the line. The new S5 Disc is significantly stiffer at the bottom bracket and head tube, without increasing frame weight.

Ride Quality - Confidence and Comfort

You'll feel the difference immediately. Frame stiffness and geometry work together for precise handling and pedaling efficiency. Frame lay-ups and tube shapes, along with tires up to 28mm wide, soak up road vibrations for a smoother ride.

    True Aero

TrueAero combines specific tube shapes, sizes, and design features to improve aerodynamic flow across the bike. The application of TrueAero is tailored specifically for each of our bikes and their intended uses.

    Extended Seat Tube Cutout

Our Extended Seat Tube Cutout is a close fitting curve in the seat tube, which shields the leading edge of the rear wheel to significantly improve aerodynamic performance.

Cervélo developed BBright™ to take advantage of the fact that oversized frame tubes are stiffer and lighter. With the BBright™  system, larger-sized tubes are used in the seat tube, down tube, and lefthand chain stay. The benefit is increased stiffness and pedalling efficiency in a lighter weight frame. BBright™  is compatible with all major bottom bracket standards.

    Less drag, more speed.

Aerodynamics are critical to engineering a fast bike: aero drag accounts for as much as 90% of the overall resistance affecting a rider. Using special frame tube shapes and design features, we improved the aerodynamics of the S5 Disc so you can reap the benefits of reduced drag.

    No wasted effort.

The stiffness of the S5 is a sprinter's dream. Using a combination of material, shape, and lay up, we engineered the S5 to be stiffer at the head tube, for stable and predictable handling, and at the bottom bracket, so that more of your power goes into turning the rear wheel.

    Fit for you.

You'll be able to find your perfect fit on the S5, with six stem lengths, four bar widths, 5° of rotation, and up to 32.5mm of stem spacers.

  • All bikes purchased from iRIDE will have been pre-assembled by our mechanics and test ridden. You will also receive a multi point checklist of all the safety checks and bike build elements we work through to ensure you bike is correctly assembled, and then tested so that it runs as it should. Bikes being sent to a customer who is unable to collect it from iRIDE, will have it boxed, wheels, saddle and bars generally off and re-packaged.

The delivery of bikes will be organized once a freight fee can be determined based on weight and delivery location.

Assembly should take no longer than 10-20 minutes. It is recommended that a skilled mechanic assemble, or check the bike. If possible your local bike shop is likely best placed to do this from a safety perspective to ensure all is as it should be. If a rider is having any issues we can hook up an online video chat, or talk over the phone. If this service is required email us at to organise a time that suits all parties.
