Make No Compromise
The R5 will fuel your passion, whether you find glory in winning races or beating your friends to the top of the hill. The R5 makes no compromises as a race machine first and foremost: like you, it thrives on punishment.
Ideal For: Stage Races / Hill Climbs
Confidence is Everything
A high performance bike you can trust. Stiffness and geometry work together for pedaling efficiency and stable handling. Wider tires and frame compliance create a smoother ride to help reduce your fatigue. Disc brakes ensure controlled braking in all conditions.
Detailed Perfection
Cervélo values user-friendly and intuitive adjustments. The thoughtful details of the R5 will delight you: RAT thru axles for fast wheel changes, plenty of tire clearance (for tires up to 30mm measured width), and an integrated computer mount for uncluttered handlebars.
Optimal Balance
We made the R5 stiffer at key points in the bike while maintaining its featherweight status. In fact, the disc model of the R5 is our stiffest ever road bike frame. The R5's careful balancing of stiffness and weight results in a bike that accelerates quickly but is stable and predictable at speed.

All bikes purchased from iRIDE will have been pre-assembled by our mechanics and test ridden. You will also receive a multi point checklist of all the safety checks and bike build elements we work through to ensure you bike is correctly assembled, and then tested so that it runs as it should. Bikes being sent to a customer who is unable to collect it from iRIDE, will have it boxed, wheels, saddle and bars generally off and re-packaged.
The delivery of bikes will be organized once a freight fee can be determined based on weight and delivery location.
Assembly should take no longer than 10-20 minutes. It is recommended that a skilled mechanic assemble, or check the bike. If possible your local bike shop is likely best placed to do this from a safety perspective to ensure all is as it should be. If a rider is having any issues we can hook up an online video chat, or talk over the phone. If this service is required email us at workshop@iride.net.nz to organise a time that suits all parties.
